Workshops + groups for scientists + STEM professionals, climate professionals, educators, therapists, parents + university students. Build psychological resilience to face the climate crisis, avoid burnout, restore vitality + engagement in life and work.

As a scientist or STEM professional facing climate collapse, are you outraged? Anxious? Numb? Are you afraid of what is to come? Do you experience grief? Despair? Guilt?  And do you often feel alone with these difficult emotions?  Emotional distress is a normal, healthy reaction to the tremendous destruction and uncertain future we face. Yet our workplaces and our culture at large don't necessarily welcome our painful feelings. When we push them down or ignore them, we become isolated and are more likely to burn out.

Please join Climate Psychology Alliance North America and experienced facilitators Teddy Kellam and Kristan Childs for at ten-week program to build solidarity and alleviate burnout. Based on Good Grief Network's 10-Step program, we will experience the surprising ways that sharing our heavy feelings can help us metabolize them so that we can restore joy in our lives and stay engaged in our work. Using neuroscience-backed grounding practices, thoughtful writing prompts, well-facilitated sharing, guided meditations, and curated poetry we will work our way through these 10 Steps:
